Surrey’s zero waste map has landed!

Last year in Surrey, waste fell by 5.2% –  that’s thanks to you! But we need to keep that momentum going by reducing waste and reusing and repairing old items even more. Fortunately, we’ve got just the tool to help you!

The Surrey Environment Partnership (SEP) have just launched Surrey’s zero waste map! It’s a tool created to give Surrey residents access to all the places they can reduce, reuse, repair, recycle or donate at the click of a button! How does it work? Simply enter your postcode into the search bar at the top right of the page, click on the menu and select what you’re looking for and…voila!

Don’t forget, some items included on Surrey’s zero waste map may also be recycled in your kerbside collection. This includes items such as batteries, small electricals, food and drink cartons, glass bottles and jars, metal tins and cans, clothes and textiles and books. Use the Surrey Recycles search tool to find out if these items can be recycled from home where you live.

Start using Surrey’s zero waste map today, and you’ll be taking another great step towards helping the environment and supporting your local community.
